Next Thursday, July 25, the organizers of the GTP Indie Cup Summer‘19 contest will stop accepting games from independent developers.

Inmost is one of the past Indie Cup winners
Indie Cup is the seventh online competition of independent games in Eastern Europe, which is held by GTP Media.

This time it is held with the support of Kefir, Huuuge Games and Unreal Engine companies, and the number of nominations for which developers can submit their project project has reached nine:

  • “The best PC game”;
  • “The best mobile game”;
  • “The best VR game”;
  • “The best art”;
  • “Best Audio”;
  • “Streamers’ Choice”;
  • “Critics’ Choice”;
  • “The best game on Unreal Engine”;
  • “The best game on Unity”.

Each nomination is judged by a separate specialized jury. For example, only composers will determine the winner in the new “Best Audio” nomination for the contest, and representatives of virtual reality companies will decide which project is the best from the point of view of VR.

The competition is completely online, so the application is simple.

Our Cup is the largest indie games competition in Eastern Europe. The online format makes participation as easy as possible. Developers do not need to spend money on travel, tickets and accommodation, as at traditional conferences. And you don't need to completely waste the team's resources for several days, as in jams – we allocate a lot of time to submit a project. All this allows you to collect a lot of talented teams every time who can get feedback, as well as a lot of prizes.

There are two main conditions for participation — the presence of a project at the alpha stage and above, as well as the independence of the developer (a studio or team is considered independent if it owns more than 50% of the company’s shares and 100% of the intellectual property of the project).

You can submit your project for the competition at this link, and here you can find out more details about the event.
