A new deal on the market. ZiMAD announced a collaboration with Disney. The developer has received permission to release additional content based on the cartoons of the film studio for his game Magic Jigsaw Puzzles.
According to representatives of ZiMAD, they have already prepared the first update within the framework of cooperation. It has content based on such films as “The Little Mermaid“, “Cold Heart“, “Soul“, “Puzzle” and more.
This is not the first such partnership of ZiMAD. At the moment, the developer has a valid contract with Nickelodeon, previously worked with Cartoon Network, Sony and National Geographic.
ZiMAD is an international developer with Russian roots. Its head office is located in Florida. Production teams — more than a dozen — in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
The studio specializes primarily in classic puzzles (while adding non-standard cutting pieces to the game for the usual puzzles). The main title of the developer is Magic Jigsaw Puzzles, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.
For all the time on the market, the game has received more than 130 million installations. There is no official information about the title’s revenue, but, according to AppMagic, only from in-game payments, the game’s earnings over the past five years could amount to $ 30 million. At the same time, in addition to IAP, one of the sources of monetization of the application is advertising.
