Minsk studio Vizor is known for builders for social and mobile platforms. Her main hits are “Zombie Farm” and “Klondike”. But now the company is preparing a completely non—standard project for itself – a session MMO for consoles and PCs.
“Klondike”
There are very few details about the project.
It is known that it has been in development for more than two years, it is being created on Unreal Engine 4, plus the company itself is actively looking for new employees to develop it. The genre of the project is a fighting game in the setting of “dark fantasy”.
Vizor itself informs that back in 2017 it launched a division for the development of games for a male audience. Today it has more than 100 employees. Half of them are engaged in fighting games, half are prototyping other console projects.
The news is unexpected, but quite natural. As we wrote quite recently, having achieved success within their niche, local mobile majors are now interested in expanding their audience, entering new markets and platforms.
This is what we see on the example of Vizor, whose strategic investor in August was Playrix. It is possible that the latter will be the next major mobile developer from the CIS, which will also try to go beyond the App Store and Google Play.
