Good news from Belarus. Minsk-based game studio Neskin has received strategic investments from the Australian gambling giant Aristocrat, whose assets include such major gaming companies as Big Fish Games and Plarium.

EverMerge

The deal was announced on his LinkedIn page by Michael Lang, CEO of Aristocrat Digital, a video game division

Aristocrat.

Details of the transaction are not disclosed. Therefore, there is no information yet on the amount of investments, nor on the condition of their receipt, as well as on the share of Neskin transferred to the disposal of the Australian company.

Our investment in Neskin is the result of a long—term collaboration, in which a new EverMerge game was released under the Big Fish Games brand.

Also, as part of the announcement, it became known about another strategic investment — in the American studio Proteus Games. There is also no specifics on it.

Neskin is a small indie team founded in 2011 by Sergey Neskin and Valentin Merzlikin. In the CIS, she became famous at the same time, releasing the match game “Democracy“, in which the political situation in Russia was ironic. The first truly box office hit for the company was the recent EverMerge, which, according to AppMagic, earns $5 million a month excluding advertising.
