Embracer Group‘s second deal of the day. After the news of the acquisition of Saber Interactive, it became known that the Swedish gaming conglomerate today also agreed to purchase Voxler Studio, which develops karaoke for consoles.

Let’s Sing
The transaction was carried out on behalf of the Koch Media Media group, a German asset of the Embracer Group.

It is not specified how much the Paris-based studio cost. It only says that the agreement concerns both Voxler’s production facilities and the rights to its intellectual property — the Let’s Sing series of games.

Voxler will be headed by Nicolas Delorme, who has headed the studio since 2006. In connection with the news, he noted that joining Koch Media was an important step and the result of more than a decade of partnership between the companies.

For Koch Media, which has been the publisher and distributor of Let’s Sing for all these years, buying Voxler is a logical step. As far as can be understood from the internal presentation, Let’s Sing was one of the most important third-party labels for the media group (along with Wasteland 3, Shenmue 3 and Pathfinder: Kingmaker).

Koch Media Structure
Recall that Koch Media is one of the five operating groups of the Embracer Group.

Koch Media includes game developer and publisher Deep Silver, publisher Ravenscourt Games, distributor Koch Media and merchandising manufacturer Gaya Entertainment.

Important: Koch Media distributes (primarily in retail) not only its own games or products of the Embracer Group, which also includes THQ Nordic, but also projects of Bethesda, Sega, Capcom, Bungie and many others.
