Sensor Tower analysts have prepared a report on the most profitable mobile games of last month. PUBG Mobile became the February leader at the box office, which together with its Chinese version of Game For Peace earned $ 250 million. Also in the top of the best was the project of the Russian Playrix.

In its report, Sensor Tower relied on data obtained from the App Store and Google Play around the world, and did not take into account revenues from third-party Android stores.

  • PUBG Mobile’s revenue grew by 16.2% compared to February 2020. The Chinese version of the title helped a lot in this, which collected about 66.5% of revenue. Another 7.4% of revenue came from players from the United States, and 3% from players from Saudi Arabia;
  • the second place went to Honor of Kings with revenue of $218.5 million. Over the year, the project grew by 57.2%. Almost all of the game’s revenue came from China — local gamers generated almost 95.6% of earnings;
  • February was one of the most successful months for Pokémon Go, which took the fourth place in the ranking. During this time, the Niantic game earned $124.2 million, which is 95% more revenue last February. In part, it is worth thanking the Pokémon Go Tour event: Kanto, which brought in $10.6 million in one day.;
  • Roblox still holds the fifth place in the top. Social MMO revenue in February amounted to $101.6 million (an increase of 84.8% in annual terms). Analysts also noted that over the entire existence of this platform, it has earned $2.5 billion in the App Store and Google Play. Moreover, the company collected almost half of the amount only in 2020 ($1.2 billion);
  • Homescapes from the Russian studio Playrix became the tenth game in terms of revenue, which got into the overall top. In addition to her, the list also includes Genshin Impact (third place), Coin Master (sixth place), Monster Strike (seventh place), DBZ Dokkan Battle (eighth place) and Three Kingdoms Strategic (ninth place).
