The total turnover of the US gaming market in July amounted to $4.6 billion — an increase of 10% year-on-year.

  • Of this amount, $4.1 billion was spent on content (games on consoles, PCs, mobile devices, as well as cloud and subscription services) — an increase of 6% year-on-year.
  • Last month, Americans spent $323 million on iron — an increase of 98% in annual terms.

Important: NPD tracks sales of physical copies from retailers and receives data on the “figure” from publishers.

The rating is also based on net sales of games (without microtransactions and subscriptions). An asterisk marks titles in which digital sales were not taken into account. And the familiar ones are titles that did not take into account sales in the “figure” on Xbox.
