GameAnalytics has announced the launch of a new analytical platform GameIntel. The platform provides access to data on key business metrics and allows you to compare games by genre and mechanics. It is integrated into the already existing benchmark service Benchmarks+ and monitors monthly:

  • actions of 1.7 billion gamers;indicators of more than 140 thousand mobile games.
  • Main features of GameIntel

Access to key metrics for all games, genres and regions in the database (you can see, for example, not only what kind of retention a particular game has, but also in general for such a genre in such a region).

  • Among the metrics that can be tracked: D1-D7, D14, D21, D28, D60 and D90, session length, number of sessions, amount of time in the game, conversion to paying player, ARPPU and ARPDAU.
  • Support for the full genre classification of GameAnalytics, as well as the ability to analyze titles by artistic style and mechanics.
  • There are a lot of filters in interactive dashboards that are updated every hour (including by platform, by country, by the ratio of paying players to non-paying ones).

  • Tops of hits and trending games for the last day, week or month.
  • Also in GameIntel, you can study both already released and upcoming titles.
It is unclear whether it is possible to find out with the help of the service how much a particular game has earned.

However, as the director of the service, Chay Hunter, said in an interview with VentureBeat, the new platform is focused on data collection and analysis, and not on “spreading rumors.” Therefore, there may not be any data about revenue in the solution.

You can get access to the basic functionality of the service for free. However, the set of functions is very limited and does not allow you to fully track all the necessary indicators.
