Less than two months have passed since the launch of the open beta League of Legends: Wild Rift, as the title has already been installed by more than 12 million gamers. This is despite the fact that the game was initially available only in seven countries and entered the global market only in early December.
This was reported by analyst Daniel Ahmad with reference to Sensor Tower data. According to him, most of the downloads in the premiere week came from Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, Turkey and Russia.
Ahmad also added that the mobile MOBA has already earned more than $10 million.
Riot Games released an open beta of League of Legends: Wild Rift for Japan, South Korea and five Southeast Asian countries on October 27. About two weeks ago, beta also expanded to Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Oceania, Vietnam and Taiwan.
