The most downloaded games of the month
In July, six new products were included in the rating of the most downloaded mobile games at once. One of them topped the top. It’s about My Talking Angela 2 — the continuation of “tamagotchi” about the cat Angela from the creators of My Talking Tom. The game received 44.6 million downloads: 40.6 million on Google Play and 3.9 million on the App Store.
Let’s go through the rest of the new products in more detail.
Trading Master 3D
A bidding simulator in which players exchange various anti-stress toys. On June 23, the Android version was released (it was handled by the Turkish company FollowCircles), and on July 2, the iOS version (with the help of the Turkish Panteon).
At the end of the month:
- ranked 2nd in iOS downloads — 5.5 million;
- ranked 1st in downloads on Google Play — 40.8 million;
- ranked 2nd in downloads on both platforms — 46.3 million .
Important: in the overall top, Trading Master 3D was lower than My Talking Angela 2 due to the fact that it was published by different companies on Android and iOS. AppMagic counted these versions as two different games.
Fidget Trading 3D
Another simulator of trading anti-stress toys, but published by the Turkish MagicLab. Unlike Trading Master 3D, here you can not only sell pop-ites and spinners, but also play them.
At the end of the month:
- ranked 3rd in iOS downloads — 5.3 million;
- ranked 7th in terms of downloads on Google Play — 20.4 million;
- ranked 5th in downloads on both platforms — 25.8 million .
BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA
On July 2, Krafton returned PUBG MOBILE to India after nine months of ban. The developers called the local version of the battle royale BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA and made a number of changes to it. For example, they moved the action of the game to the training ground and repainted the blood green.
At the end of the month:
- ranked 5th in downloads on Google Play — 21.2 million;
- ranked 7th in downloads on both platforms — 21.2 million .
Run Rich 3D
A variation of the runner from the French publisher VOODOO. In it, the user must collect as many bundles of dollars as possible during the race along the track. On the way, the player meets robbers, receipts, garbage cans and bottles — they take away money.
At the end of the month:
- ranked 6th in iOS downloads — 4.1 million;
- ranked 10th in downloads on Google Play — 15.9 million;
- ranked 9th in downloads on both platforms — 20 million .
Pop It Fidget 3D
Antistress is an application published by CDT Puzzle Games. In it, you can beat dishes, flip switches, pop air bubbles, toss dice and much more.
At the end of the month:
- ranked 8th in terms of downloads on Google Play — 18.1 million;
- ranked 10th in downloads on both platforms — 18.1 million .
The highest-grossing games of the month
Asian Games confidently continue to join the ranks of the most profitable games. The leaders included the MMORPG ODIN: Valhalla Rising (오딘: 발할라 라이이), published at the end of June by the South Korean Kakao Games. It became the main game of July on Google Play, where it earned $80.2 million. This also allowed her to take sixth place in the overall top.
The overall top and top on iOS was again headed by PUBG MOBILE. The revenue of all its mobile devices for the month is $141.2 million.
Fantasy New Jade Dynasty (梦幻新诛仙) from the Chinese Perfect World Entertainment also performed well. The MMORPG was released on June 23, by the end of that month it took 83rd place in the top box office on iOS. Now the game has risen by 74 points and got into ninth place, earning $ 34.9 million in July.
