The Russian mobile games market earned almost a billion dollars last year. And this year he can earn even more. In January-March 2021 alone, Russian users spent $235 million on mobile games.

Results of the Russian market for 2020
- the volume of the Russian mobile games market in 2020 amounted to $933 million (annual growth of 25%);
- the Russians spent the most on role-playing games ($146 million), strategies ($137 million) and puzzles ($58 million);
- the revenue of role-playing games and puzzles increased (by an average of a quarter), but strategies fell (by 4%);
- the highest-grossing games of last year in Russia: Hero Wars, Brawl Stars, Gardenscapes, Empires & Puzzles and World of Tanks Blitz;
- hyper-casual games in Russia accounted for 594 million downloads (annual growth of 66%);
- at the same time, there are no hyper-casual games in the top 3 most downloaded games for the year: My Talking Tom Friends, Brawl Stars, PUBG MOBILE.
Results of the Russian market for 2021
- the volume of the Russian mobile games market as a result of the 1st quarter of 2021 amounted to $235 million (annual growth of 11%);
- this is a record mark since the beginning of the pandemic (and therefore for all time);
- Android users spent $156 million on games in Russia (an increase of 14%), and iOS users — $80 million (an increase of 7%);
- Homescapes became the leader in the box office by the end of January-March, PUBG MOBILE and Brawl Stars took the second and third places, respectively;
- total downloads of mobile games in Russia for the first quarter of this year amounted to 727 million (an increase of 6%);
- The most downloaded mobile game in the first quarter is DOP: Delete One Part, followed by Among Us and Phone Case DIY;
- The leaders in active audience are Brawl Stars, Among Us, ROBLOX, Minecraft Pocket Edition and PUBG MOBILE.
