We are publishing a new list with gaming vacancies. This week they are wanted: a game designer at ZiMAD, a 2D/3D animator at Lesta Games and a VFX artist at ExoGenesis.

Marina LopatinaGame designer at ZiMAD (Remote work)
ZiMAD is a company engaged in mobile games since 2009.
On her account such games as Magic Jigsaw Puzzles, Jigsaw Puzzle Villa, Dominoes Online, Magic Cross Stitch, Dig Out!. Together, these and other ZiMAD mobile titles have collected over 200 million downloads.
Now ZiMAD needs a game designer in the project team who will develop product metrics and work with the gameplay of games.
Responsibilities:
- development of game features and support of their implementation;
- improving balance, game mechanics, monetization;
- writing concept documents and design documents;
- participation in regular team meetings, communication with designers and programmers;
- testing and verifying the correctness of the implementation;
- development of A/B tests to test hypotheses;
- constant game analysis and analysis of the results of new mechanics;
- monitoring competitors’ applications and searching for potentially interesting features among games of different genres.
Requirements:
- experience working on games that have reached release and released in the App Store or Google Play;
- knowledge and understanding of game metrics: DAU, ARPPU, Retention and others;
- ability to work with analytical data;
- knowledge of English at the Upper Intermediate level.
Jigsaw Puzzle Villa2D/3D animator at Lesta Games (Minsk, Belarus)
Lesta Games is an international group of companies, which until last year was a division of Wargaming.
Since March 2022, she has been responsible for the games “World of Tanks”, “World of Ships” and Tanks Blitz on the territory of Russia and Belarus.
Lesta Games is looking for an experienced animator. He will have to improve and enrich the perception of games.
Responsibilities:
- production of animated content: character animation, technique animation, simulation animation;
- creating scenario events on the map (aircraft overflights, aerial battles, shelling) to improve immersion;
- creating a basic rig for a character, in particular, using plugins;
- maintenance and refinement of content at all stages of production;
- participation in the development of animation as a discipline with the help of tools inside the engine, new methods of work, etc.;
- teamwork with other disciplines to achieve the best result.
Requirements:
- having a strong portfolio;
- at least two years of experience as an animator;
- knowledge of animation principles: timing, spacing, etc.;
- practical skills of working in Maya;
- practical skills of creating human animation, technology, facial animation;
- the ability to create biped and facial rig, rig techniques.
Tanks BlitzVFX-Artist in ExoGenesis (Remote Work)
ExoGenesis is a young game studio dealing with console and PC games.
She is currently developing a metroidvania in a dark setting inspired by the Ori and Hollow Knight series.
The studio is in search of a VFX artist who is ready for difficulties and is filled with a desire to create a cool product.
Responsibilities:
- creating artistic 2D effects from scratch for both the characters and the environment of the game;
- interaction with art and design departments;
- collaboration with technical artists and programmers on the VFX toolkit.
Requirements:
- work experience from a year. Preferably on released projects;
- skills of creating frame-by-frame sequences;
- confident mastery of Unity and Adobe Photoshop;
- availability of a portfolio with works on effects;
- understanding the artistic aspects that affect the art part of the effects;
- ability to interact with a team of game designers, artists, programmers;
- the skill of creating quick drafts to demonstrate an idea.
