The studio is known primarily for the urban planner SuperCity and the battler Age of Magic.
Now Playkot needs a strong team leader who will help improve the current testing process and form the right approaches to achieve the needs of the product.
Responsibilities:
- organization of the browser game development testing process;
- monitoring, efficiency analysis and optimization of current testing processes;
- if necessary, the introduction of new tools and approaches;
- test team management: training, mentoring, 1-to-1, performance review, hiring;
- building effective interaction with the development team.
Requirements:
- at least a year of experience as a QA team leader in game development;
- experience testing browser or mobile games;
- availability of successful test process management cases;
- the ability to achieve set goals and fully manage the testing processes in the team;
- ability to work with people.
SuperCityEvent Coordinator at WN Media Group (Saint Petersburg, Russia)
WN Media Group is engaged in the development of the B2B ecosystem.
It includes the WN Conference business conference, the online event platform WN Hub, the media App2Top and GameWorldObserver, as well as the job search service and recruitment agency Talents In Games.
Now WN Media Group is looking for a clear and structured event coordinator.
Responsibilities:
1) support of partner online events:
- interaction with sales managers: getting information about an online event, defining a training plan and tasks for it;
- working with partners conducting the event: consulting, collecting and providing the necessary information;
- coordination on the day of the events;
- document management.
2) remote coordination of offline events from the office:
- work with contractors in the preparation of offline events: coordination, coordination of work, tracking the timely implementation of agreements;
- document management for the event.
3) assistance in conducting clients’ online and offline events:
- assistance to sales managers in documentary and organizational support of clients before the event.
Requirements:
- fluency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of the language at the level not lower than Upper-Intermediate;
- competent Russian language and business correspondence skills;
- experience in organizing offline and online events;
- excellent communication skills, the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers within the framework of the project;
- ability to maintain financial documents: contracts, invoices, acts, estimates and more;
- fast learnability.
VFX-Artist in ExoGenesis (Remote Work)
ExoGenesis is a young studio dealing with console and PC games.
She is currently developing a metroidvania in a dark setting inspired by the Ori and Hollow Knight series.
The studio is in search of a VFX artist.
Responsibilities:
- creating artistic 2D effects from scratch for both the characters and the environment of the game;
- interaction with art and design departments;
- collaboration with technical artists and programmers on the VFX toolkit.
Requirements:
- work experience of a year, preferably on released projects;
- skills of creating frame-by-frame sequences;
- confident mastery of Unity and Adobe Photoshop;
- availability of a portfolio with works on effects;
- understanding the artistic aspects that affect the art part of the effects;
- ability to interact with a team of game designers, artists, programmers;
- the skill of creating quick drafts to demonstrate an idea.
