Marina LopatinaLead Business Development Manager at Playkot (Remote Work)


Playkot is a mobile and browser games development studio that opened in 2009.

Her portfolio includes titles such as Age of Magic, SuperCity and Spring Valley. Now Playkot is looking for a person who will develop the company’s business.

Responsibilities:

  • projects entering new markets, platforms and networks;
  • constant monitoring of new features (platforms, atypical monetization, etc.);
  • search and negotiations with contractors and services — organization of cooperation, obtaining the most favorable conditions;
  • systematization and organization of the team’s work.

Requirements:

  • work experience as a leading business development manager in game development;
  • experience working with various platforms: PC, consoles and (necessarily) mobile;
  • excellent understanding of the mobile games market;
  • the presence of a large number of useful links;
  • knowledge of spoken and written English at the C1 or C2 level.

Spring ValleyLevel Designer [FPS/RPG] in GFA Games (Remote work)


GFA Games is a studio whose team includes former developers of STALKER 2, Atomic Heart, Kings Bounty and other well—known projects.

She is currently working on the post-apocalyptic MMO shooter PIONER. For him, the company needs an experienced level designer.

Responsibilities:

  • design game levels according to the specified conditions of the game scenario, concept art or technical tasks;
  • to carry out a review and subsequent revision of existing game locations for compliance with the gameplay;
  • together with game designers and the technical department to set standards for the use of artificial intelligence and the placement of various unique interactive objects on the map;
  • interact closely with the level artist and the technical artist;
  • keep scheduled daily or weekly reports in the task tracker. Provide comprehensive information for testing.

Requirements:

  • experience with Unreal Engine 4/5. First of all, a successful experience of blockout/ prototyping of game locations or scenes, which could be confirmed, including by completing a test task;
  • willingness to understand and analyze game conventions, organization and documentation of the game;
  • resistance to discussions. Voice communication is accepted in the studio — people constantly communicate and work together in separate Discord conferences;
  • basic knowledge of any 3D modeling package for creating placeholders of location objects;
  • openness to criticism and the ability to take it into account.

PIONERVFX-Artist in ExoGenesis (Remote Work)


ExoGenesis is a young game studio dealing with console and PC games.

She is currently developing a metroidvania in a dark setting inspired by the Ori and Hollow Knight series.

The studio is in search of a VFX artist who is ready for difficulties and is filled with a desire to create a cool product.

Responsibilities:

  • creating artistic 2D effects from scratch for both the characters and the environment of the game;
  • interaction with art and design departments;
  • collaboration with technical artists and programmers on the VFX toolkit.

Requirements:

  • work experience from a year. Preferably on released projects;
  • skills of creating frame-by-frame sequences;
  • confident mastery of Unity and Photoshop;
  • availability of a portfolio with works on effects;
  • understanding the artistic aspects that affect the art part of the effects;
  • ability to interact with a team of game designers, artists, programmers;
  • the skill of creating quick drafts to demonstrate an idea.
