The second nationwide competition of game developers for Unreal Engine 4 has started. Epic Games is holding it together with our colleagues from Disgusting Men. The winners are promised grants from $5,000 to $100,000.
Conditions
The competition is waiting for applications from independent studios and single indie developers. Games are accepted:
- any genres and themes;
- at the stage of a working prototype, A/B testing, early access or soft launch.
The reception will last until July 15. The finalists of the contest will be announced in November.
Prizes
The organizers and their partners promise the finalists assistance with the publication of the games, expertise, financial support. The jury includes the leads of such companies as MY.GAMES, Playgendary, Belka Games, MYTONA, 1C Entertainment, Wolfeye Studios and many others. Each of them has its own nomination.
For example, MY.GAMES company will divide the grant for $ 135 thousand between the best, in its opinion, frituplein projects. Brand Mail.Ru The Group is also ready to invest up to $1 million in the development of promising studios.
Similarly, the developers selected by Belka Games, MYTONA and other members of the jury will receive grants or other support. In total, there are nominations from 21 companies.
