The authors of the mobile game Clothes Forever are suing pop star Selena Gomez. Gomez accuses LoveCrunch studio of illegally using her image to promote the title. She demands that the developers close the game and pay her compensation.
The reason for the scandal was the game art, which depicts a woman similar to Gomez. The star claims that this is a copy of her photo for Flare magazine. In addition, Gomez is worried about her reputation, because the title she has become the face of is “full of bugs.”
Clothes Forever was released on the App Store three years ago. In it, players pick up outfits like Beyonce, Kim Kardashian or Taylor Swift. Whether LoveCrunch received the rights to use their images is unknown.
