Chinese publisher Chukong together with Microsoft are holding a competition for mobile developers for the best game for Windows on the Cocos2d-x engine. The prize for the first place will be $ 25 thousand.
Companies invite both experienced developers and newcomers to participate. The main condition is that you need to build the game on Cocos2d-x and then upload it to the Windows Store or Windows Phone Store.
The game will be evaluated according to the following parameters:
- quality (how visually appealing is the game, is the gameplay interesting, are any special effects used in creating the gameplay, is the control intuitive);
- characteristics (does the title work on the required device and how well; are there any “bugs”);
- creativity (how inventively the developer used the capabilities of the engine);
- originality (how original the project is).
The author of the best game, as we have already mentioned, will receive $ 25 thousand. Second and third place – $15 thousand and $3 thousand, respectively.
You can apply for the contest now. You need to have time before 8:00 Moscow time on May 31 of this year. The only restriction is that you must be over 18 years old at the time of application.
