Russian social networks Odnoklassniki and VKontakte named the winners of the Games Cup 2019. This is a tournament for HTML5 game developers. A number of finalists were selected among pro developers and newcomers.
This competition is a continuation of last year’s Instant Games Cup tournament. Applications for participation in the Games Cup were sent by more than 100 participants. 70% of them tried their hand at the “New Star” nomination (for young developers).
The jury assessed the potential popularity of the games among the OK and VK audience, the novelty of the mechanics and the quality of the study. The portal also offered its nomination App2Top.ru — for the most innovative game.

First place

Prize: 1 million installations on OK and VK platforms.
Second place
- “Cozy Home: Make your dreams come true!” (TAPCLAP casual game)
Also the winner in the special nomination “The best social mechanics”.
Prize: 600 thousand installations on OK and VK platforms.
Third place
- “Fuzzies” (arcade game from Playtox)
Prize: 400 thousand installations on OK and VK platforms.

- “Twisted Heroes” (slot RPG by Alexey Lovkov)
Prize: 600 thousand rubles.
Second place
- “Residents” (simulator)
Prize: 300 thousand rubles.
Third place
- “Raid of Heroes: Sword and Magic” (strategy from Persona Game Studio)
Prize: 200 thousand rubles.
Winner in the nomination “The most innovative game”
- “Grayness” (graphic novel by Provodnik Games)
Prize: two premium tickets to any White Nights conference in 2020 and a guaranteed booth at the developer exhibition at the conference.
