The updated Apple TV set-top box will be available from next week. This is reported by The Verge with reference to the speech of Apple CEO Tim Cook during the WSJD conference.
The exact date has not yet been announced by Apple management. According to the resource Pocketgamer.biz , the company will start accepting pre-orders for Apple TV on October 26, and deliver the set-top box from October 30.
Recall that the fourth-generation Apple TV was presented in September. The updated version of the console is declared as a full-fledged game console with access to the App Store. Apple TV will be equipped with a touch remote control. Users will be able to control the set-top box, including using voice commands.
The latest version of Apple TV runs on a new OS – tvOS, where you can install apps from the App Store. The price of the set-top box will be $149 for a model with 32 GB of memory and $199 for a version with 64 GB of memory.
