Games again turned out to be the most downloaded and most profitable “apple” applications. The analytical company Sensor Tower came to this conclusion after studying the company’s quarterly report.
Apple’s first fiscal quarter of 2016 coincided with the fourth calendar quarter of 2015 and ended on December 26. During this period, the company’s revenue amounted to a record $75.9 billion. Of these, games accounted for ~ $2.7 billion. This is four times more than the total revenue from music and social applications, according to Sensor Tower.
Games were also in the lead in terms of downloads.
Sensor Tower was named the most profitable iOS game in the USA as Game of War.
In terms of profit among publishers in the United States, Supercell has nevertheless become the leader.
