BlueStacks has released a new version of the platform of the same name for launching Android applications via Windows and Mac OS X.
BlueStacks 2 has received a new interface. Now the platform allows you to open several applications in different tabs in parallel. With this function, you can, for example, launch a messenger and a game at the same time.
At the moment, the audience of users of the service is larger than the number of users of Sony smartphones.
Bluestacks debuted on the market in 2012 as an Android application player for PC. Since that moment, the number of users of the platform has exceeded 109 million, of which about 5 million live in Russia. The number of applications used by users per month reaches 1 billion.
According to the authors of Bluestacks, the number of downloads of the platform is constantly growing. At the moment, the plafthorm is downloaded up to 220 thousand times a day, which is twice as much as in 2014.
Recall that Bluestacks are also the authors of the game console based on Android – GamePop. Last year, the company received an investment from Samsung.
