The former head of Sonic Team will appear in court. According to the Japanese publication NHK, the Tokyo prosecutor’s office has officially accused Yuji Naka of insider trading in shares of the developers of the Final Fantasy VII mobile game: The First Soldier.
Taisuke Sazaki, a former Square Enix employee, has also been charged. According to NHK, Sazaki and Naka, shortly before the announcement of the game, bought shares of the Ateam studio for a total of ¥249.7 million or $ 1.8 million.
It is unknown when the trial will take place.
