At the end of June, The Wall Street Journal reported that YouTube is conducting internal testing of the service with embedded games called Playables. On September 5, the video hosting officially announced the launch of a public beta test.
A “limited number” of users will be able to participate in the Playables beta test. According to YouTube, they will be able to play both on PC and on mobile devices.
What specific games appeared on YouTube is not specified. Earlier, The Wall Street Journal journalists wrote that one of the first games should be the Stack Bounce arcade, in which you need to break layers of rotating bricks with a ball.
