In 2017, the British studio World Makers released an occult version of “Mafia” called Deceit. Now she is working on the continuation of the multiplayer horror. The developers recently received $4 million from investors to create the game.
The leader of the funding round was the venture fund Makers Fund.
According to the Crunchbase portal, World Makers has raised $7 million in total to date. The studio held the previous round in the summer of 2021, it was also headed by the Makers Fund.
The release of Deceit 2 is scheduled for 2023. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
