Owlcat Games has announced that sales of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader have surpassed the one-million mark. It took the game just over a year to reach this milestone; it was released on December 7, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader

Recall that Owlcat Games sold the first 500,000 copies of the game within a month of its release. As GameDiscoverCo calculated at the time, by the end of December, the Steam version of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader alone had earned $12.6 million, becoming the top-grossing new release of the month on the platform.

The current revenue of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is not definitively known. According to Gamalytic, the game's gross revenue on Steam could be around $25 million, while VG Insights estimates it at $29.4 million.

Owlcat Games is currently working on the second major expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, titled Lex Imperialis. It is set to be released sometime in 2025, with the developers to announce the exact date later.
