Owlcat Games indicated that as a result, gamers have unlocked the first level in a special promotion — through which developers offer various rewards like skins and a digital novella for adding the title to wishlists a certain number of times. There are still three levels ahead. To reach the final one, Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy needs to gather at least 1.5 million wishlists.
Additionally, Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy secured the 31st spot on the list of most anticipated games on Steam. It surpassed games like Rooted, Control Resonant, Chronicles: Medieval, and many other projects in the rankings.
