In the first quarter of 2023, Wargaming paid taxes in Lithuania in the amount of € 5.2 million, according to the portal dev.by with reference to the data of the Lithuanian tax inspectorate. This is more than any other IT company in the country.
As journalists noticed, before Wargaming gave much less money to the Lithuanian treasury. For example, in the first quarter of 2022, he paid “only” €1.2 million in taxes. But in the second half of 2022, the amount of tax deductions began to grow rapidly. In June-September, Wargaming has already paid €2.9 million, and in October-December — €3.3 million.
Melsoft, known for the mobile hits Family Island and MyCafe, also entered the top 50 IT companies in Lithuania in terms of tax deductions. In the first quarter of 2023, she paid taxes in the amount of €1.6 million. What place Melsoft took is not specified.
