In mid-July, the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM) talked to Russians about video games. It turned out that almost a quarter of respondents are interested in them.

The most gamers among Russians aged 18-24 years — 56%. At the same time, 20% of them play daily.

▪️45% of gamers answered that they play on a computer. Also, of all the gamers surveyed, 44% play on smartphones, 16% — on laptops, 8% — on tablets and 5% — on consoles.

▪️51% of gamers indicated that it became more difficult for them to play because of the sanctions. Among those who play for more than four hours every day, 74% have already told about problems.

The survey participants most often complained about problems with buying the games themselves (26%), with in-game transactions (24%) and the lack of fresh releases in Russia (21%).

48% of gamers who complained about problems did nothing to solve them. But only 1% said they eventually stopped playing.
