VK decided to attract more developers to the VK Play gaming platform. To do this, she reduced the commission for Russian and foreign teams from 30% to 5%.
As TASS writes with reference to the VK press service, “novice developers and studios who bring users into the game themselves will be able to apply for a commission.”
In addition, the company promised to provide up to 350 thousand impressions to new projects in order to determine the metrics of games and, based on them, understand what volume of features and traffic will be needed in the future.
VK announced the launch of the VK Play open beta test on April 25. At the moment, there are 13,334 games in the platform’s catalog, of which 525 are “cloud”.
