The Finnish company Supercell has invested in a newly opened studio called Channel37. It is not reported on what conditions the transaction took place.
The studio was headed by Miika Aulio from Umpihanki Capital. Four former Ubisoft RedLynx employees are also among the founders. Now Channel37 is working on a certain PC-exclusive, the details of which she is not ready to share yet.
Recall that Supercell itself is now engaged not only in mobile games. In February, it announced the opening of a division in North America that makes games, including for PCs and consoles.
