Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker, who have headed Rocksteady Studios since its founding in 2004, have announced that they are leaving the company.
The news is unexpected, to put it mildly. At the moment, the studio, famous for the Batman Arkham series, is preparing for release the first project in seven years — Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
The founders do not speak clearly about the reasons for leaving. They only clarify that both decided to leave Rocksteady at the end of 2022 to “go on a new gaming adventure.”
After their departure, the post of director of the studio will be occupied by Nathan Burlow, who for a long time held the post of director of production of the studio, and was also a member of the Rocksteady founding group. The position of the studio’s product director will be assumed by Darius Sadeghia.
