The key investor was the Play Ventures venture fund. Together with him, the startup was supported by 500 Global and the founders of Next Games and Tripledot Studios.
Cypher Games opened in 2022 and has not yet managed to release a single game (however, it helped Zerosum Games with the Merge Barista puzzle). The studio plans to spend the money received on the development of its first title, as well as on hiring new employees. By 2023, Cypher Games wants to increase its staff six times and open an office in Berlin.
