The studio Creative Assembly boasted about Total War: Warhammer 40,000's achievement on social media. In its post, it thanked gamers for their interest in the strategy game and promised to share news about the game in the coming months.
According to the SteamDB service, Total War: Warhammer 40,000 is currently ranked 16th in the list of the most anticipated games on Steam, positioned between REANIMAL and ILL.
Creative Assembly announced the strategy within the Warhammer 40,000 universe a month ago at The Game Awards 2025 ceremony. The developers stated that in the new Total War, players will be able to play as one of four factions: Space Marines, Orks, Eldar, and Astra Militarum. Each will have unique gameplay mechanics. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to customize their army.
Total War: Warhammer 40,000 is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. The release date is currently unknown.
