Sega Sammy has published a report for the fiscal year 2022, which ended on March 31. In it, the company, among other things, mentioned the successes of the main IP.

Yakuza became the second series in terms of the number of copies sold this year, second only to the long—time leader – the Sonic series. During the fiscal year, Sonic series games were bought 5.8 million times (and over the past two years — 10.2 million times).

The annual circulation of Total War was 2.6 million copies, and the circulation of the Persona series was 1.3 million copies.

Note that Sega Sammy earned $2.5 billion for the year, which is 15.8% more compared to fiscal 2021. The lion’s share of the company’s revenue (73%) came from its entertainment division.
