The UK Competition and Markets Authority has conducted several antitrust investigations against Apple. As a result of one of them, the agency stated that the corporation was abusing its position by banning cloud gaming services in the App Store.

Officials pointed out that the ban is beneficial only to Apple, because by letting such services into the store, it may lose part of the revenue. However, this harms developers and ordinary players.

Apple has not yet commented on the situation. Recall that earlier the company has repeatedly noted that cloud services are potentially capable of harming the security of users. They open access to games that Apple cannot check for compliance with the rules.
