Survival about vampires V Rising for the first week of sales (as part of early access) on Steam sold 1 million copies. For reference, the price tag of the game is $19.99.

At the same time, the game boasts an excellent daily online. Last Friday, it reached the mark of 100 thousand and has not dropped below since, reaching a peak of 150 thousand (this is approximately at the level of Apex Legends outside of events).

Officially, the developer and publisher of the project is the Swedish studio Stunlock, previously noted for the online arena Battlerite Royale. However, in reality everything is more complicated.

V Rising cannot be called a new indie star in the Scandinavian gaming firmament, since the owner of Stunlock is Tencent. She also produced and financed the project.

So the current success of V Rising is largely the success of Chinese capital, which has successfully established work with a strong Swedish team.
