Capcom is confidently heading towards another record-breaking year.

Resident Evil Requiem

The Japanese company informed investors that it has revised its forecast for the recently concluded fiscal year, which ran from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. While Capcom has not yet finalized its results, the company is already confident that its revenues will exceed initial expectations.

Specifically, Capcom now anticipates revenue of 195.3 billion yen ($1.22 billion). This is 2.8% more than its previous forecast and 15.2% higher than the earnings achieved last year when it released Monster Hunter Wilds. Additionally, Capcom has raised its net profit forecast by 5.9% to 74.1 billion yen ($464 million), representing an annual growth of 12.9%.

As explained by Capcom, the revision of these figures was prompted by the excellent start of Resident Evil Requiem, whose sales recently reached 7 million copies. The company is also pleased with the demand for its older titles and the strong performance of its arcade game division.

Capcom will provide more details about its financial results in its report on May 13.

It is worth noting that Capcom has been steadily increasing its revenues for many years. If its forecast is realized, the company will set a revenue record for the fifth consecutive time, and a net profit record for the ninth consecutive time.
