Capcom is confidently moving towards another record-setting year.

Resident Evil Requiem

The Japanese company informed investors that it has revised its forecast for the recently concluded fiscal year, which ran from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. Capcom has not finalized the results yet, but it is already confident that its revenues will exceed initial expectations.

Specifically, Capcom now anticipates revenue of 195.3 billion yen (1.22 billion dollars). This is 2.8% higher than its previous forecast and 15.2% more than what the company earned last year when it released Monster Hunter Wilds. Additionally, Capcom increased its net profit forecast by 6.9% to 54.5 billion yen (345 million dollars), representing a year-over-year increase of 12.7%.

Capcom explained that the figures were revised due to an excellent start for Resident Evil Requiem, which recently achieved sales of 7 million copies. The company is also pleased with the demand for its older titles and the strong performance of its arcade games division.

Capcom will provide more detailed financial results for the year in a report on May 13.

It is worth noting that Capcom has consistently increased its revenues for many years. If its forecast holds true, the company will set a record for revenue for the fifth consecutive time and for net profit for the ninth consecutive time.
