Despite the crisis, investments in the gaming sector continue. Moreover, the money is received, including not the most obvious recipients. For example, studios founded by former streamers.

This is exactly the story behind Omeda Studios. Today it is a gaming startup engaged in the creation of a new game in the genre of MOBA — Predator. Its co-founder and CEO is Robbie Singh, who was previously a fan and streamer of Paragon, an Epic Games MOBA closed in 2018.

Actually, Robbie was inspired to launch the project by the community of this closed game. Today, two years after the launch, the studio boasts a cool team. Including former developers of Paragon and Far Cry 6.

But, of course, not everything is so simple, before launching his own studio, Singh was the marketing director of Midnite, a gambling betting platform for gaming matches. So he definitely didn’t start from scratch.

Anyway, Omeda Studios recently received an investment of $20 million. Haveli Investments was the key investor.
