The year 2025 turned out to be one of the best for CD PROJEKT financially. In a recent report, the company revealed that it achieved the second-largest net profit in its history — surpassed only by 2020.
The Witcher 4
- According to the document, CD PROJEKT's net profit for 2025 amounted to 594.7 million PLN (161 million USD), which is a 34% increase compared to 2024.
- CD PROJEKT's annual revenue also grew — by 9% to 866.9 million PLN (234.8 million USD).
- The primary source of revenue last year for the company was Cyberpunk 2077, which, along with the Phantom Liberty expansion, generated 671.9 million PLN (182 million USD, +13%). The Witcher franchise brought in significantly less — 154.9 million PLN (42 million USD, -19%).
- North America remained CD PROJEKT's main market, accounting for 75.5% of its revenue in 2025. Europe, excluding Poland, contributed another 11.5%, and Asia — 9.3%. The home market generated 3.3% of CD PROJEKT's revenue.
- By the end of December, the company had 1,261 employees, mostly developers. As of February 28, 2026, 933 team members at CD PROJEKT were directly involved in game development.
- The development team for The Witcher 4 has grown to 499 people, while the team for the Cyberpunk sequel has expanded to 149 people.
- CD PROJEKT has started working on a game under the code name Project Hadar — this will be a project from a new franchise. Previously, the company was conceptualizing the game.
- In the coming quarters, CD PROJEKT plans to release an unspecified project. Online speculation suggests that it might be a new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which has been the subject of rumors lately, but CD PROJEKT hasn't provided any clarification.
