InnoGames stated that it became much easier for it to hire new employees after it began to openly publish information about salary forks. After implementing the new policy, the company managed to close all 19 vacancies in just two months.
“We are delighted with the results of our transparency initiative. Critics will say that we managed to close vacancies thanks to the wide coverage of this practice in the media. Of course, this was one of the factors, but it is not necessary to reduce everything only to him,” said Michael Zillmer, co—founder and COO of the company.
“It is impossible to identify and assess the impact of each factor that contributed to success. However, we cannot ignore the fact that, for example, it previously took us up to 15 months to find a data analyst, not just two,” said Andreas Lieb, HR Director at InnoGames.
Representatives of the company also say that the discovery of salary information has changed the nature of interviews conducted for the better, increased confidence in the company and led to a lot of positive feedback from applicants.
