A new deal in the Russian gaming market has come to light. The Moscow-based studio "Vintorog" has secured $250,000 in investments, which will be allocated to the development of an unannounced game.

The investor is Esprit Games, a Russian publisher specializing in online games.

"Vintorog" is not yet ready to share details about the game. The studio's press release only states that the title has been in the active production stage for some time. There is no information on when "Vintorog" plans to make a full announcement.

The current investment is the second for "Vintorog" in the last 12 months. In July 2024, the Moscow team raised 12 million rubles as part of a still-unfinished financing round of 50 million rubles. The funds raised in the round are intended primarily for scaling the studio: developing the publishing arm and creating new games.

Currently, "Vintorog" is seeking third-round investments to develop an AA-tier game.

"At this stage of our development, our goal is to build a portfolio of diverse but high-quality products that enhance our team and expand the studio's presence in the market. Our aim is to advance to the development and publishing of AAA games," said Denis Pozdnyakov, co-founder of "Vintorog."

"Vintorog" was founded in 2023 by employees of IThub Group and HSE. The studio currently has more than 70 employees, and its portfolio includes over 30 projects. Notably, it has worked on games such as Cream Soda Club, Piratocracy, Ro-Sham-Bo, Major Grom: Pursuit, and Neuro-Kinesis.
