The developers wrote on social media that the studio was reopened thanks to the efforts of its three leaders: Ivan Kuznetsov, Alexander Smirnov, and Eugene Antonikov. The official statement does not specify the total number of people currently in the Black Caviar Games team. The studio's website states that it employs over a hundred people, but according to the web archive, this information was present even before the closure.
Black Caviar Games also announced that it is already working on a new game. The studio has been developing it for several months and promises to share details soon.
Let us recall that Black Caviar Games is based in Krasnodar. The studio was initially founded in 2019. In August 2023, Black Caviar Games was forced to close its doors after encountering "insurmountable difficulties." At that time, it stated its hope to return to the market eventually, and it has succeeded.
Black Caviar Games' portfolio includes games such as Eco Tycoon, Jumpurr Cat, and Samedi Manor.
