This is stated in the LinkedIn profile of Chris Chung, director of the World of Tanks franchise. Timur222 enthusiast, who monitors developer accounts on social networks, drew attention to the information.
World of Tanks
Chang also wrote that by 2024, more than 350 million people had signed up for the franchise's games in total.
Chang did not say how the revenue and audience were distributed by specific games. Recall that the franchise includes World of Tanks itself, World of Tanks Blitz and World of Tanks: Modern Armor.
Formally, these games are currently unavailable in Russia and Belarus. In the spring of 2022, Wargaming, which owns the franchise, left the Russian and Belarusian markets and transferred the entire local business to Lesta Games. As a result, regional versions of titles with their own names appeared in these countries. In particular, the World of Tanks became known as the "World of Tanks", and the World of Tanks Blitz — just Tanks Blitz.
In November 2022, the publishing director of the World of Ships, Valeria Tsygankova, said that by the end of the year Lesta Games expects to earn 10-12 billion rubles on the World of Tanks, Tanks Blitz and the World of Ships. Apparently, the company managed to achieve this result. Recently, in a comment to Forbes, Boris Sinitsky, chief operating officer of the World of Tanks, said that Lesta Games predicts revenue for 2023 in the amount of 18-19 billion rubles — an increase of 50% compared to 2022. Based on these figures, it can be assumed that in 2022 Lesta Games was supposed to earn about 12-12.5 billion rubles. According to Sinitsky, 60% of the company's revenue comes from the "World of Tanks", 35% from Tanks Blitz, 5% from the "World of Ships".
