The co-founder and CEO of the publishing house, Kirill Oreshkin, posted about the achievement on social media. He also mentioned that, to date, games published by Polden Publishing have sold a total of 771,500 copies.
Oreshkin emphasized that, in net terms, much less money actually reached Polden Publishing. After Steam commissions, developer payments, investor deductions, and refunds, the company has roughly $1 million left. Moreover, the lion's share has already been spent on employee salaries and game promotion.
“So the figures look nice, but there isn’t much money. We constantly live in a situation where we have funds for Polden's existence for 5-6 months,” added the head of Polden Publishing.
