In just four months of sales, the Resident Evil 4 remake made it into the top 15 best-selling Capcom games.
According to the publisher, since the release on March 24, the game has sold five million copies (more than Resident Evil 2 had in the version for the first PlayStation of all time).
Of these, Capcom sold three million in the first three days of sales. Another million — two weeks later. That is, the game “got” the last million for almost three months.
For reference, the cumulative sales of the original Resident Evil 4 for different platforms and in different editions reach 12.3 million.
