In an interview with the Taiwanese YouTube channel, Naoki Yoshida, producer of Final Fantasy XVI, admitted that he did not like the abundance of competing consoles on the market too much. In his opinion, it would be easier if there was a single platform.
Yoshida added that he probably shouldn’t talk about it publicly. But he believes that with one console it would be more convenient for both developers and gamers.
Yoshida did not compare PlayStation, Xbox and other devices with each other.
