The creators of Dark and Darker are not the only developers whom Nexon has accused of stealing game developments. According to their claim, the Korean police have now searched the office of the Dynamis One studio.
Project KV
It is reported that the police have seized materials related to the game Project KV, which was canceled in September 2024. They intend to verify whether Dynamis One used data from Nexon's game called Blue Archive while working on this title.
Dynamis One has not commented on the event.
In comments to the media, Nexon representatives stated that Dynamis One was founded by former company employees who previously worked on Blue Archive. Nexon suspects that Project KV was developed based on the Blue Archive code. Despite the cancellation of Project KV, the company wants to hold those responsible accountable. The specific penalties they are seeking have not been disclosed.
It should be noted that Project KV was canceled just one month after its announcement. Dynamis One did not delve into the specifics of this decision, stating only that it considered the game to be of insufficient quality.
