According to SteamDB, at launch, Liar’s Bar had 2,000 players simultaneously. However, the game soon caught the attention of streamers, causing the player count to rise rapidly. Currently, the peak concurrent players have reached 113,700.

This achievement allowed Liar’s Bar to enter the top 20 largest Steam releases by player count this year, currently sitting between Granblue: Fantasy Relink (114,000) and Hades II (103,500).

During the week of October 8-15, the game ranked 12th in the overall Steam sales chart, climbing 41 places. It is foreseeable that this week it might enter the top 10.

Overall, the game received mostly positive reviews on Steam — liked by 87% of users.

Liar’s Bar is a cooperative card game imbued with elements of dark humor, deception, and "Russian roulette." It is developed by the Turkish studio Curve Animation, which initially specialized in creating animated films and is now debuting in the gaming industry.
It is noteworthy that Liar’s Bar is another successful project for Turkish developers in 2024, alongside Kebab Chefs! and Supermarket Simulator. All of these projects have origins in other business sectors, particularly mobile development.
