Bethesda has announced a new Starfield achievement. Since its release in September 2023, 13 million people have played the space RPG.

The company also reported that the average time spent by players at Starfield is 40 hours.

Starfield's figures were last revealed on December 2. At CCXP 23 in Brazil, the head of Microsoft's gaming division, Phil Spencer, said that the game had gained an audience of 12 million people. At that time, according to him, Starfield was one of the ten most popular games from internal Xbox studios. Whether Starfield is currently present in this top is unknown.

Recall that on the day of release, Starfield appeared in the Game Pass subscription. Therefore, it is unclear how many of the 13 million people have tried the game for free, and how many have bought it. Bethesda itself calls the launch of Starfield the largest in the company's history.
