The Moscow Arbitration Court rejected Apple‘s cassation appeal. The corporation asked to recognize as illegal the fine imposed by the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation (FAS) for abuse of power over the distribution of applications on iOS.
Apple has already tried to challenge this fine, but the court has previously sided with the FAS.
In January 2023, the FAS fined Apple another 1.17 billion rubles as part of another case. The agency was not satisfied with the App Store policy, forcing developers to use only the Stora payment system.
